We lost the capability to backup Optimized vmdk files for thin provisioned Windows Virtual machines running on ESX 4.1 after upgrading to Netbackup 7.0.1. After the upgrade entire vmdk file is getting backed up. From our initial research on Netbackup forums, it appears to a known issue. Is there a workaround that can be put in place? I have the latest VCB from vmware installed on Netbackup proxy.
