it sounds very useful, esp. very interesting, the arguments to the
chattr
commands under HP-UX.

Symantec was no help but I actually found a workaround that they have validated. Symantec will actually issue a Technote on my discovery of the workaround. But take note, this only applies to 32Bit Netbackup running on HP-UX

I have had a similar problem on Tru64 with NBU3.2. The solution in our case
was to restore one file in last directory. We also increased the swap space
on the server as far as I remember.
