Back on version 5.1, I had a similar problem installing NB 5.1 on CentOS 4.1 Adding this rpm fixed the problem. compat-libstdc++-296-2.96-132.7.2.i386.rpm I suspect the rpm for RH 5.1 may have the same name with different version numbers. I did get the same thing working on CentOS 5.0 but I don'
