It turns out that Versions regenerates the Bookmarks.plist file when
quitting, overwriting any symlink you may have created. Bummer!
This leaves us with only one option, which I have yet to confirm as a
workable solution -- seek permission from Sofa to use the same license

i am using version 1.0.3 build 56,
and for every file i click on, the "quick look icon" is disabled.
(.txt, .java, .css, .xml )
is there any trick to enable this feature - or am i missing something?

The license file is indeed bound to the computer it is stored on.
Without this limitation, making an infinite amount illegal copies of
Versions would be as simple as copying a "License" file, so this is
not something we will change in the foreseeable future.
Now for a solution to

I can't seem to drag the contents of the trunk into the tag. I can
option-drag the trunk itself, but I don't want that additional level
