ANOTHER UPDATE: It turns out that Versions regenerates the Bookmarks.plist file when quitting, overwriting any symlink you may have created. Bummer! This leaves us with only one option, which I have yet to confirm as a workable solution -- seek permission from Sofa to use the same license on mu

Hi coolfactor, The license file is indeed bound to the computer it is stored on. Without this limitation, making an infinite amount illegal copies of Versions would be as simple as copying a "License" file, so this is not something we will change in the foreseeable future. Now for a solution to

Guys, you're being a bit harsh. Educational pricing would be great, but it takes time to consult the people who hold the purse strings in a company. You or I can make snap decisions about our own products as we run the show, but when you have investors who need to sign and run everything t

My repository has at the top level trunk, branches, tags. I know how to do this from the command line. I can't seem to drag the contents of the trunk into the tag. I can option-drag the trunk itself, but I don't want that additional level in the tag, just the enclosed directories. When I try to

At the repository level, you can only copy one directory/file at a time per revision. If you want to turn the tags directory into a copy of the trunk, delete the tags directory, and copy the trunk into the root of the repository as "tags". Though, to me, this defeats the purpose of tags because u

Hi Elmar, My best guess is that you're working in the Repository browser, instead of in not the Working Copy browser. The files in the Repository browser aren't actually on your Mac, so offering QuickLook support for those is quite tricky. The FTP client Flow has an intersting implementation, w

@Marc: If you drag the trunk folder itself to the tags folder, it should not create a new /trunk folder under the one you specify as the name for the tag. I do this myself all the time, and it works well for me. Could you maybe walk me step by step through what you do exactly, so we can figure
