We are installing Versions in a computer classroom environment. We
have individual licenses for each machine and have installed the
licenses as Administrator, as we typically do for other software
packages.
However, Versions is still requesting license information/running as a
demo from any log
To solve this, I did a traditional command-line checkout of the
repository and then added a bookmark to an existing working directory.
Once I did that, Versions prompted me for the directory and the
credentials and everything worked. I was just surprised I could not do
this from scratch in Versio
I paid for a license yesterday and have since tried registering my
copy using all manner of things in the Name and Email fields (all of
these things correct I might add!) along with the license key I was
given, but each time I get the message 'Connection error. Please try
again later'.

It works, thanks! I shamefully have to admit that it was written
clearly in the docs, which I did not read before your post. Maybe such
a useful feature should be advertised in the UI, somehow.
