This is an annoying problem for me too. I cannot understand why
Versions does not use the command line version of SVN as detected and
listed in the preferences and/or why it is so hard to keep Versions in
step with current SVN development. SVN 1.7 is no new thing.

Sorry to hear about your shared-repository trouble. It is indeed an
increasingly frequent problem, and situations like that make it difficult to
implement the workaround of checking out a clean 1.6 working copy.
Subversion 1.7 support is still very much on the list for Versions' future,
