Hi John,
This is a known bug that was introduced with the new support for
authenticated externals in beta-9. There will be an update later
today that won't address it, but it's at the top of our list for the
next release.
Sorry for nagging about that password every ten minutes, we're doing

I am having the same issue. It only showed up for me when I installed
the latest update which for me happened to be from 1.0B9 to 1.0.1. It
prompts me for authentication every 5-10 minutes like it is polling my
subversion server and it doesn't have the correct authentication. I

This is, unfortunately, still not solved! I tried modifying the
permissions using both the terminal and manually selecting file info
(while viewing hidden files) and trying to change things to read

Nothing is working, Versions is still asking for my name and password

Hey Ceriel,

makes it invisible in Finder by default - use the shell to see it)
Mark's tip below about changing the permissions/ownership of the
directory is promising too. I haven't tried the 1.0 release yet, maybe
this bug disap
I experienced the same thing and found that the problem was that I had
incorrect permission for the .subversion folder.
After I changed ownage of the .subversion folder, everything worked

When I press "New Repository Bookmark" it will not store my

Hey Koen,
I tried a few things so far. I removed a file from .subversion/auth/
svn.simple and deleted a key from keychain. I switched from SVN 1.4 to
1.5 in the preferences.
I'm trying to access a remote repository using http:// ... I am not
using any SSL certificates.

Hey Guys,
It kind of depends on what security you are using. Some possibilities:
- You are using http/ssl and your (self-signed) certificate is
screwing up something. Find the certificate in keychain and delete it.
- You are using ssh and your keys are screwing up. Set up your ssh
keys again.

Me too.
I just started using versions, and it appears to be a great tool.
However, it keeps asking for my password everywhere.

Versions was working great for like a month and then one day it
started asking me to authenticate myself every time I go into a new
folder in my repository. I tried deleting the bookmark and readding,
didnt help. I tried deleting my .subversion directory and
reinstalling versions, didnt help. T
