Few fly-fishing experiences are as thrilling as seeing, stalking, and
then hooking the quarry. It's undoubtedly the appeal of dry-fly fishing
in streams. In my opinion, some stillwaters offer opportunities for even
more visible, heart-pounding moments.

Sounds like age discrimination to me. I suppose the only OTHER rule
would be 'no synthetic materials to be used'.

Put me on the list as interested. I will wait to commit completely until
you post the specifications. I definitely meet the *Old Fart* designation

The fly you'd tie would be one of your own design, or whatever,
preferably one of your favorites. Type of fly, trout,
I use them on a few patterns.
peacock sword tail and the palmer emu for the obdy.
Fly Fish American just had a pattern where the feahter was used for the

I'm in. I'll do either a Wissahickon Midge or a Ridley Creek Fuzz Ball. I'm
leaning toward the Fuzz Ball.

I've got a pattern book that contains a bunch of british patterns in it some
which might be older than the earliest American patterns. Do you want me to
check for you.

Well, I didn't join up yet because all it gave me (that I saw) was some high
dollar life insurance, and discounts on hotel rooms, car rentals, and
airline tickets. None of which I'd use LOL, Chuck

I who has a birth year that ends in 9, means I have a Birthday that ends in
0 next year and will be old enough for the swap, and as the IWFF is having
their festival in saltwater next year, I'll make up something saltwaterish.
