[VFB] Barge cement?

A fly fishing-related question here. Is Barge cement recommended to create a water-tight seal? I know that Goop and AquaSeal are considered waterproof, but I have some Barge in the drawer, and would like to use it, IF it creates a watertight seal. Thanks, Wes Wada Bend, Oregon
