Thanks for the suggestions...
I am finding a conflict, however, in that the Kool Aid references say
not good for dyeing synthetics. I am looking for something that will
dye foam. This foam is heat sensitive and melts at higher
temperatures.
Any suggestions?

kool aid works if you do not want to use dyes that do not require heat.
main thing is what ever you wish to dye must be squeeky clean.

Hi VFB,
I am in need of some information on dyeing. The dye must be a good
cold water dye, easy to use, non-toxic, persistent color. Earth tones
would be great colors.
Can anyone please suggest what dye this describes?
