The largemouth bass is America's favorite fish, and it should also have a
place in every fly fisher's heart.

The Lambs Wool duster makes GREAT wings.did
The material spent the night in a glass of water, and it's good as new. The
color is fused into fibers. What I like best about this stuff is the nice
translucency. It would be super for minnow patterns.
Hi Gary,
I will check, but this stuff looks like the color is fused into the
material.
Man... between this stuff and a 'Z-lon wanna-be' material called Congo
Hair, put out by an online place called 'fly tyers dungeon' (in what they
call 'polar bear' color), I'm drooling!
Oh, standard disclaimers - not affiliated w/ fly tyer's dungeon, just a
happy user of their products, etc etc etc
no clue J.B. ..but how many pure white lambs wool dusters can there be
at wallmart...

All you gotta do is find a place to hang them, and you can just reach and chop
Lambs wool makes great wool muddler type heads.you can pack it as you do deer
heads. But remember, lambs wool is one of the most absorbent fibers so it will
soak up water very quickly and sink. You can also get nice wool roving strands
in knitting and weaving shops. Joyce
Thankx Joyce.that's the good part.the more water it soaks up, the
better it sinks.

You certainly did get carried away! I started out fishing with wet flies
but now I never use them, but since this swap, I now carry a few of them
with me when fishing for trout.

Look for Bob Popovic's 'Siliclone' as an example of this.
