Troutsman is a product of Sportsman's Warehouse here. Is it called
flex-seal? If so, it thins with toluene. I'd take a bit of it on a
toothpick and then put it on something like a can lid . Then I'd do two
more. Then I"d try thinning one with a drop of water, the second with
toluene and the last

Griffin head cement. I think it's an organic head cement which
should thin easily with lacquer thinner, as Tony suggested.

I have a pattern worked out, I'll get the rest of the materials this week,
should be done before the deadline. I also agree that Jimi should get a set
of flies in the event someone else meisters the swap.

Check with them for thinner. Is it water based or petroleum based?
If you can't find it, the usual thinners are MEK, acetone, toluene, mineral
spirits, or combinations if it's like a vinyl cement, which I use.
If all else fails, send me the mfg. inf
Is it a water base cement. If not, I think you can thin it with Lacquer
thinner. Take a bit of it on a toothpick and add a bit of Lacquer thinner or
try Acetone. See if that will delute it.
