storage I use the priority mail boxes of the long Japanese stuff, and
small plastics from AC Moore/Michael s.
Also, Cabelas carries silk glove liners, get a pair of these for when
you handle the silk.
And, when the fly
I bought one of the small 3 drawer plastic cabinet things.

I use something similar to what Rick uses, but I had found one with 5
drawers. I have 2, but I wish I had a couple more. I just picked up a
couple more of the 3 drawer ones, but they are not quiate as compact as the
5's. I also seen something on Ebay today that might work well.
I can answer this one, Rick has a Yarnbarn

I actually have one of those.
I use it for self-tapping and self-drilling screws.
I believe I bought mine many years ago at Home Depot or Lowe’s. Might have even
been from Harbor Freight.

Pacres,
After checking Hobby Lobby and JoAnn Fabric websites, although they both
have hundreds of storage containers.
I don't think this particular model is available any more. You might
want to bid on that box on eBay. After all, it comes pre-stocked. G

Threads used to show up at the fly shops in plastic boxes that would lay the
spools flat in formed/depressed rows, and then these boxes would stack. They’d
each hold about 16 to 20 spools. The shops used to give me these, and they
work great. I used to stack them on a shelf, but now I store

I couldn't help it! Seriously between your tying and your wife's knitting,
I bet there are a lot of plastic boxes!
I have two, large plastic bins that fit under a bed for all my yarn! Of course
they are hidden in the attic ofmy garage.

Yes, Don O is correct, the boxes that he describes are those used by Uni
Products. I have five of those boxes and could use more. I don't know if UNI
Products still use them, somehow I suspect not.
