What Jimi said. If you do one half hitch, then reverse the second half
hitch it becomes a Timber hitch, used in attaching a line to a log when
pulling it out of the woods. I always reverse the second half hitch when
tying a fly. It makes a bullet proof knot or end of my thread tie off. I
