So sorry to hear this,
I remember Denny well, on my fist trip to the Sowbug he suggested that i
move over from the hotel into the cabin where he and
staid. Jimi joined the gang as well, we talked the whole night about
roosters, hackle, hens and eggs. His knowledge was amazing. Will really
miss him
I never met Denny but we were in contact by e-mail and phone a few years ago
when I purchased a couple of his JV hen capes.
He was pleasant and easy to deal with. My condolences to Liz.

This is so sad to lose Denny and before Chris. We were enriched by their lives
and we will miss them.

Tony, I’m really very sorry to learn about this. With the passing of Chris
Helms last week and now Denny, we lost two class acts in our close circle of
buddies. Since I’m in Idaho now, I had hoped to go up and fish with him this
spring. Another reminder not to put off important things in life.
Denny truly was a class act. He will be missed by many.

I am so sorry to hear this, but knew that he was ill. He was a great friend
and much of my hackle supply is from his careful genetics and breeding.

So sorry to hear that, Tony. Denny was a true gentle man and a good friend to
many of us. I still chuckle about the time too many of us helped him put up
your storm door. I'll miss Denny too.

Sorry to hear about the loss of a dear friend, Tony!
He was a great guy – we talked a lot when we were roommates at the Sowbug.
