Wes: Basically, jigs aren't really designed for fly fishing. I've never seen a 30 degree jig hook. Looking at my non-fly fishing catalogs, I see 90, 60 and 45 degree jig hooks. 90 degree jigs are designed for vertical jigging. I use them when I'm fishing from a boat for walleye. You drop
