I've tied for over 35 years, so have the typical accumulation of materials
needing organization and storage. Can't say I have lucked into the ideal
arrangement spanning two tying areas, but can offer a few tips that have
worked for me.

You folks are getting me motivated. I have two HUGE Rubbermaid storage
containers full of fly boxes and a couple of shoe boxes full of swap
flies that need to be sorted. Sounds like a great winter project.

I tie for several different types of water and fish including the
occasional order. I keep the bulk of sometimes used stuff in large
tubes, craft and work shop drawers. For immediate use I have a system in
place where its in an easy to get to spread pile on my tying table 😀
