Patrick, I know this answer ain't kosher, but here goes. When I've fished Diamond Lake, it has always been with a tiny gold-colored treble hook with a ball of Velveeta Cheese, fished about 1 1/2 ft off the bottom with a split-shot about 18" up the line. You won't see many people using fly rod
