I checked the pacbay side and their documents. Unfortunately I cannot
identify my blank. No kidding.
I bought if from a shop, which is now out of business. The bag says
Pacific Bay, so the brand is clear. The dealer sold it as 'private label
blank',

You can get surgical tube from a dive shop. Cut off "O": rings from that. I
have a friend that gets outdated rings from his dentist and gives him some
flies in return.

If you're not satisfied with the manufacturer's suggestion, put the
guides on with small rubber tubing (dentists use it for braces).
Then put a reel on, run the line through the guides, and put enough
weight on the line to put a good bend in the rod.
Then you can adjust the position of
