tying average speed of 2 minutes per fly, that translates into 2 X
36,000 = 72,000 minutes % 60 minutes / hr = 1,200 hours at the bench.

While we're talking fly rods, I'll share mine with you.
I have nothing really fancy except my Orvis Madison
bamboo and the thomas Thomas. I couldn't have
afforded either. The orvis Madison was given to me
as my retirement gift, included a CFO 4wt reel. Cost
$1500. The Thomas Thomas I won in
Me thinks a $500 T T and a $1100 Madison Penns Creek bamboo are
just a bit more than pool cues.
