Just wanted to let you guys know that RSVPs are open for passes to AFI
Digifest. It's free on Nov. 4th and 5th in LA. I'll paste the lineup below.
We're working hard to make it a great event.

I've noticed that most people (myself included) crap out three
quarters of the way through - within sight of the end. Expect
confusion, stress and demotivation around the 21st, 22nd or 23rd. If
you can get past that...
You can do it!

November is presenting it's own peculiar challenge for me. Here's my November.
1. Do one blog post (text) every day on Viewpoint
2. Do one video blog post every day on Viewpoint
3. Do one tweet every day on my twitter feed.
4. Do my contribution to the community NaVloPoMo on the 14th.

i can see advantages and disadvantages of adding more people formally
on certain dates. And I'm reluctant to be the Dungeon Master here :)
on the one hand there's a simplicity in the idea of a single chain of
30 videos. for this game.
on the other hand, NaVloPoMo is an open month of making
Yes - I thought we could do this with a Blip playlist and player with
browsable list of videos on the right hand side. Have two embeddable
players - one during November that shows the latest video at the top,
and one for afterwards that plays through all the videos in
chronological sequenc
Rupert,
If everyone posts thier video to YouTube, you could make a playlist and add a
new video everyday.
Then you could play them in sequence with the contols that allow skiping ahead.

I am not saying that the group project is not great ...
this is just my opinion..I think we are shortening the original Navloplomo
deal...I see it like retreating instead of keep on trying to make a video a day
per videoblogger..
I do remember it was taken as a CHALLENGE...and t
I may do one a day, too, but I will definitely play the game with everyone
else. I think it will be a great "group project".
I look forward to seeing what you do, John.

If there is need of a site to host the event, keep in mind that
http://videoblogging.ning.com
is always available, & I'm happy to add anyone as admin.

needs to change, in which case please say so here as soon as possible.
Adrian, I've left you at the start. Roll on November 1st!
