I've seen a lot of good suggestions about this and I'll add one. Even if
things have gone awry, a 301 permanent redirect will fix any issues where
your friend has temporarily lost some of their Google juice. I didn't see
anyone mention this (if they did I missed it) but this might be a sim
I moved about 3 domain names from an Australian host to a US host
(Hostmonster) quite a few years ago now and never lost a thing in
terms of Google ranking, and for some search terms I was ranked #1
So I agree, people do this all the time and never complain about
losing ranking that I have heard.

another host. Now her same website doesnt show up in
