You might want to look into the *very* new web service called Cutcaster. I've

I find it completely odd that FCP and FCE can't handle .mp4 video while iMovie
crunches
through it with no problem. I think probably, since most devices record to
.mp4, the codec
was designed more for viewing and not for editing.

I have the Xacti HD2 - both love it and hate it. Not the perfect

audio levels being a major downer.

Hey Bill,
Full time jobs? Eh. Who needs 'em.
Good video is becoming more and more valuable as more people watch it.
Fan base, quality and regularity are still scarce in this world, but
the demand is high. The way I see it, those of us who are experienced
and savvy are going to make money.
So how much MORE would you need in order to do your show(s) and
nothing else to make money... IF that's one of your goals in the first
place?

Philly...
I go to a lot of shows, see a lot of bands. Now I bring my video
camera nearly every time to grab a song or two (with the band's
permission, of course!).
Is anyone else doing something like this? Let's link up!
Dorothy,
Sometimes, if you use the wrong audio compression this happens. I
tried using Apple Lossless for a couple vids, and that throws them way
off sync. Try using AAC compression, see if that helps.

No, the HD2 doesn't have manual gain control, unfortunately. It also
doesn't have a headphone jack I quickly discovered, so it's hard to
