Dear Schlomo,
I've met you just once. And I enjoyed it. Even more, I've enjoyed
your videos over the years. If you stop comments, you stop people
like me --- not really your friend, not your family, just a guy you've
crossed paths with --- from communicating with you directly on your
vlog/video
when it is supposed to, and I can easily toggle between the feed

Hey all,
Background -
I'm running Miro 1.1 on an oldish pre-intel mac laptop. My laptop hd
is nearly full, so I'm writing the videos to an external firewire drive.
Problem -
Miro is very buggy. It often takes a long time to switch between
feeds, and the playback is very choppy for some videos.
Hey all,
Hopper Video, a vlog going back to the old days (October 2005), is
staging a back-to-basics celebration. I'll be posting weekly, in that
personal-Hopper-Video-style, for a few months. If you don't know what
that means, you should stop by and check it out.
For Next To Heaven fans, fear
Josh,
I've been a loyal fireant user for nearly two years now. I still love
it. I'll miss my cute orange ant!! Best of luck with Odeo!

Another way to do this in FCP is to copy and paste the low audio track
into another track. The problem with this is that you are also
doubling the noise in the track. But, it might work with the right
track if you're in a hurry.

Hey Folks -
NewTeeVee is accepting nominations for videos to be shown at a Sept.24

Hey All,
I posted the first Next To Heaven on September 19, 2006, and today I
post the 52nd. A year's-worth of weekly short movies made from
archive.org's public domain footage pretty impressive, if I do say
so myself. I had a great time making NTH, and I think I learned a
thing or two as well.

A lot of good advice already. I will note that I stopped hosting
video with dreamhost b/c the movie downloads were really slow.
Perhaps, they've fixed that now. As to Blip, they are great. And, if
they get behind your show it can be very helpful.
Hey all -- Happy New Year!
One of my Next To Heaven posts got a high number of referrals from

However, my site doesn't seem to be mentioned on www.jeroenwijering.com
Anybody have an explanation for this?
I assume this has something to do with the flash work that Jeroen has

Just wanted to share a few good things with the group --

Hey all:I've put one of my more political videos up on the Current TV website. Please consider checking it out and giving it a "greenlight". If Iget enough greenlights the video is shown on the network. http://www.current.tv/studio/media/1508798 The video carries a very important message about

Hey all:
I would love someone to hold forth on tags. I understand how tags
work on mefeedia, but what about imbedding tags into the intro text of
our posts? Of the vlogs I frequent it doesn't seem anyone is using
them. That is, I don't see them on people's sites. Should we be
tagging our posts
This group and my wife are about the only folks who would care about
this.
But I found that if you search iTunes's podcasts for either "video
art" or "art video" my humble vlog http://www.hoppervideo.net comes up
as the second found item. I was truly surprised by this. I guess
when I signed up
running the site.

Anybody know anything about http://www.dailyvodcasts.com/
It seems to be a clearing house of other people's posts, including
mine. Mind you I'm not complaining, I think we all want an audience
or we'd just write notes to ourselves or walk around muttering under
our breath.I'm just curious abo

Hey Ron:
I think Apple might be having an issue. My art and info appeared this
a.m. . . . but now its gone. I did post a review during that brief
wonderful moment that I existed in the eyes of iTunes, maybe Steve
Jobs didn't like it. :-) (for the record, I identified myself as the

I'm trying to get my feed up to speed with iTune's demands. This is
probably a dumb question, but here it goes. So, Apple wants a bunch
