Last year I shot some video at a local Cancer Research Fund raising
event. I put the video together as some of my friends from work were
involved.
I was contacted by the head of the Relay for Life organization to ask
about using the video to promote the annual event.
I've given them my blessing (with a couple stipulations, that give me
creative rights etc.) to use the video for promotional use.

Okay... with me so far?

Within the discussion about the use of the video, The Coordinator of
the Cancer Society asked:
"Also, I wanted to see if you might be interested in taping something
similar at this year's Relay for Life event? Our committee loved the
video and wanted to see if you might be interested in taping the event
once more, as it really helps to promote the event and to give people
a visual of what to expect from the event. "

Now I have a multitude of questions for you (my vlogging brotha and
sistas), but I hope discussion will answer most of them.

How do I approach them about being paid for the next video?
How much?
I feel like I'm a fisherman with an opportunity of bringing dinner
into the boat.
Help me land one...

Mike
