Job Title: Reel Talk Site Producer
Location: New York, NY


Essential Function:

The Reel Talk Site Producer will work on both the broadcast and online
platforms of the syndicated movie review show.  This role will require
working with Reel Talk production staff on editorial content as well
as interactive components including, but not limited to, page design,
HTML coding, slideshows, stories and video through the content
management system.

Responsibilities:

    * Oversee site content, including stories, photos, videos
    * Edit, tag and maintain site content
    * Put together feature packages for broadcast and online news
    * Moderate blogs and discussion boards, as well as facilitate
community interaction on the site
    * Creating and sending out newsletters and alerts
    * Work with third party that services and traffics ads
    * Work with research teams to gather and analyze data (page views,
time spent at site, etc.)
    * Work with sales on contests, sponsored widgets and other sold content



Basic Qualifications:

    * 2+ years experience in journalism, media or related field
    * Possesses strong creative and editorial background, knowledge of
content development for the web, interest in movies
    * Experience with content management systems, web-based tools,
blogs, discussion boards, Photoshop, video players
    * Ability to gather direction, requirements and feedback from
diverse sources, including senior executives, and consolidate them
into clear, operational plans

Desired Qualifications:

    * Working experience in production, ideally within a large media company
    * HTML and CSS experience
