In partnership with The Maynard Institute

Fellowships are available for 18-20 online journalists for this
special seminar focusing on helping news organizations understand the
impact of changing demographics on their audience and their content.
Topics will include:

     * The latest research on how various demographic groups engage
with the internet.
     * The keys to ensuring your content reflects the interests and
voices of all of your community members.
     * The different tools available for engaging your audience in a
ÿÿconversationÿÿ and building social networks.
     * The Fault Lines that should inform content develop and
editorial decision-making.

WHO SHOULD APPLY: Journalists, editors, programmers and product
managers of major online news, information, and user-generated content
web sites (such as Yahoo! News, MSN, MSNBC.com and AOL.com as well as
those working for major online news operations for "traditional"
organizations who have active daily programming roles and
responsibilities).
