Hi HaroldIn FCP you can add text by pressing the little a icon in the slug.  or alternatively make your own title page in something like photoshop and add it in like you would a picture.  If you are using FCP though, why not try using imovie for while first to get you head round things. Imovie is

Thanks Paul, I appreciate your advice.  I believe I'm going to stick with FCP, though.  For one thing, iMovie is much too slow at importing the .mov files I create.  FCP simply opens (or imports) them up right away.  The cannot overemphasize the difference in time that it takes. So once I create

I just wanted to thank you everyone in this thread!!! I had not explored the usage of Titles much but after playing with them in Adobe Premier Pro 1.5, I'm just giddy about titles. While I think Adobe Premier Pro 1.5 is a bit of an over kill for Vlog's but it will do everything I need it to do
