Ditto. I do my vlog foremost for myself and family, but do like the
idea of having others come along for the ride.
I'm not really worried about the shows. Television should worry more
about internet shows then I am. My followers will probably be more
dedicated then the masses following the day's
Yes, you do things for yourself, but isn't a part of our nature to
connent with others? Isn't that why we seek out those you share our
intrest's and beliefs'? If no one but you vlogged, would you still do
it?

I am actually (and inadvertently) doing a combination of personal and
show vlog. We have one year event Saturday, and (presumably) will have
created 365 episodes, one every single day.
We started it for ourselves, in large part to play with the technology

As someone who has made shows I wonder if the differences between
them and the personal vlog are not so great? My shows are very
personal to me and reflect a lot about me: my humor, aesthetics, and
social and political leanings. One author can write a diary that
communicates less about him
Agreeing with the others, the first thing I think of when videoblog is
mentioned is the personal aspect. I see more and more 'shows' popping
up, which is great, but always think of them as add-on to the original
concept... sharing personal stories. I remember a lot of the original
discussion back
