Kent

I have friends doing this. Not sure I want to single any one out.

Hundreds of examples can be found very easily using the "Affiliation
for Networking" located here. <http://tinyurl.com/2lozx7>

Another way is to use the "freinds" list. For example there are a lot
of fan sites for celebs. Enter a search for a actor/actress/entertainer.

A quick search result....

There is code is provided to add to the graphic to your own space.

Click on "friends" and often the graphic will tip you off that this
person's MySpace is a means of advertising.

I had a MySpace page that attracted a lot (relative term, less then a
500) of Marketing and Video traffic. It took no time at all for my
inbox to start getting requests to be my friend. I'd check out the
site and see what it was they were up to. Most I ignored adding for
one reason or another. Just recently another MySpace page I started,
has gotten emails that get deleted within hours by MySpace for what I
assume are TOS violations. My guess they are hitting the ground
running with ads or spam.

I am throwing out a wild idea here but why don't you start a MySpace
page that will attract the "Homespun ads" of site owners?

That is, I trust that the article you write will not ruin it for
others on MySpace.
