Sorry for the confusion... Knoppix is Debian-based too and is great
for a live distro, but Ubuntu is better for a hard drive install. -Matt

Most Linux installs are a pain, but Knoppix has made things much
easier. Personally, I prefer Ubuntu since it is Debian-based.
