Hi everyone, I've got a really odd favor to ask. I'm working on a vlog about my trip to Boston's Logan airport on Sunday to see the arrival of former Iraq hostage Jill Carroll. As some of you may have heard, Carroll evaded the media and whisked away in a limo, leaving the media to do nothing except scratch themselves, trying to interview clueless travelers who happened to be arriving at the same time.
So, I've decided to make this little media circus into a gameshow called Spot Jill Carroll! I'm working on the intro right now, and I want to simulate an audience of people yelling out SPOT.... JILL.... CARROLL! in a way similar to the opening of Wheel of Fortune (ie, WHEEL....OF....FORTUNE!). So here's where you come in. I'm hoping some of my fellow vloggers would record a snippet of audio of them saying the words "SPOT...JILL... CARROLL!" so I can mix them together like it's an audience saying it in unison. So if you have a few minutes, I'd really, really be grateful if you could record some audio of yourself saying these words and email them to me at acarvin at edc dot org. I'll need them in the next 24 hours so I can get this done by Thursday afternoon. I can take .wav, .aifc, .mp3, quicktime and .wmv format, though my preference is .wav. If I get enough of them, I'll use them in the vlog. If not, I guess I'll think of something else.
