they are looking for what cartoons played with what features? Honestly no
idea where you could find it but in the vast majority of cases the cartoon
would have produced by the same studio that made the feature. The theater
did not pick them, the studios sent them as a bonus.

We have a faculty member interested in locating a copy of the silent film
Barriers Burned Away (1925). It's based on a book by the same title and set in
Chicago during the Great Fire of 1871. The film is not found in OCLC WorldCat
at all...just the book (in various forms). It's listed on IMDB
Yes, Wiseman's Zipporah Films distributes The Cool World, although it is
only available from them on vhs and 16mm.
