Years ago you could buy a vhs copy from the filmmakers, Alan And Susan Raymond.
Although they don't have it posted it on their current site but do sell some

I have to agree with your assessment that blame lies with Reed Elsevier. It's
a classic case of "garbage in, garbage out." EBSCO has simply taken what they
were given and loaded it onto their product without checking it or enhancing it.

Others can correct me if I'm wrong, but if you want a dvd copy at this point,
all you'll be able to get is a region 2 copy without English subtitles. (The
Italians don't typically include English subtitles on their films released for
sale in Italy which is unfortunate.)
