Subject: Looking for public performance--for profit--licensing rights to 1995
BBC miniseries Pride and Prejudice with Colin Firth

Elizabeth:

How kind of you to help in my quest for finding a contact I can talk to about
licensing P&P for public performance.

The plan is that we'll show it during a conference about Austen and her time
period. Important to note that this is NOT associated with a public
entity--we're not a non-profit, we're not associated with a library or a public
organization, we're not an educational institution of any kind.

Anything you dig up would be much appreciated!

VIDEOLIB is intended to encourage the broad and lively discussion of issues
relating to the selection, evaluation, acquisition, bibliographic control,
preservation, and use of current and evolving video formats in libraries and
related institutions. It is hoped that the list will serve as an effective
working tool for video librarians, as well as a channel of communication
between libraries, educational institutions, and video producers and
distributors.
