This is based on my stackoverflow problem.

I use   set list lcs=tab:\❘\    to display tab indenting, and subtly set the 
color to be slightly lighter than my background. However, CursorLine seems to 
highlight these in white, which is unwanted.

An example can be found in the attachment.

I want to keep the color of the SpecialKey no matter where my CursorLine is. I 
was told there was currently no option to prevent this, so I would like to 
request one. May it be through a set command, in the color scheme setting, or 
how ever.
