Focus new window when started with gvim from terminal

When I open a new macvim window by running gvim FILE in a terminal, MacVim comes to the front, but the focus is on the last window that had focus. Is there a way to make it focus on the newly opened window automatically? Thanks, Jeff -- -- You received this message from the vim_mac
