Hi Bob, I use MacVim here on Snow Leopard and it works perfectly fine. Is there any difference between MacVim and Vim? I don't think so. If you want a commandline Vim and you have MacVim installed you can simply run /Applications/MacVim.app/Contents/MacOS/Vim.
It you need any more compiletime options you can simply compile MacVim yourself which also works perfectly fine.
