Is it possible, does anyone know, to have xterm key mappings that allow normal scrolling with page up/down in normal mode, and mappable code sequences in 'alternate' mode (which I have vim enter while it runs)?

I.e., Page Up/Down has diff. mappings between normal and alternate mode.

The mouse-wheel (buttons 4-5) does behave differently in the manner I want.
