experts: I recently switch from ubuntu desktop to ubuntu server , both are 14.04. and I couldn't find the register * and +. this seems happened twice (whenever I change a system) and looks quite annoying. I couldn't find a working solution. I have all necessary vim modules/apps installed. ping@u
