ROM-bootable machines

Hey all! Could you please confirm me one thing: the Classic (and Classic II) are the only two Apple machines that have a bootable system folder in ROM? Or are there other machines? I'm asking this because in a comment thread on Flickr someone mentioned booting a LC from ROM. I haven't tried that
