That would be the 32K cache card for the "cache slot" in the IIci. It's actually a Processor Direct Slot or PDS. For reasons unknown, instead of simply using exactly the same electrical configuration as the PDS in the SE/30 and IIsi, Apple changed it for the IIci, then used the IIci's configura

Just coming in, in the middle of this. If it hasn't been mentioned, if you do it yourself, make sure you get low esr capacitors. I believe the esr stands for electronic series resistance. I could be wrong about the exact meaning. I did not use low esr capacitors when recapping my SE/30.
