Fingers crossed it will fix the computer
x27;ve replaced C1 with a
suitable component. I bought a 10uf 50v non polar capacitor to replace
the possibly defective one at C1.

My old Macintosh Plus died last year, I tried following the classic mac
repair PDF thats floating around the net and replaced the C1 capacitor with
a new 50v non polar cap. After doing the repair, I found the Plus was still
dead. I dont recall if i got a Bong out of it as it was over 12 mo
dead screen.
