The reason you bother with a Nubus video card is faster quickdraw
acceleration (in an 030 anyway) plus higher resolution and color depth
then built in video.

For me Supermac Thunder/24 cards seem to be common and are speedy with
3MB of RAM. There is another version without the GWORLD RAM slots but
still decent with 3MB built in.

That's slow enough to make the difference between a fast card and an
average card negligible, as long as they're both quickdraw accelerated.

i think it's the supermac thunder II gx. a realy fast card,
but hard to find (inexpensive). the mac picassos from the middle
nineteens were good cards, too.

video card that can support better than the on board Video quality? I
