I rescued a 15 multiscan monitor a while back which is nice but it is
the model where the video cable isn't part of the monitor and someone
had lost it. Is it a standard kind of cable or am I snookered here? If
it's standard cable what do I call the ends I need to plug it into a
Mac?

I learnt from the PB list that some PB display can suffer from this symptom:
The adhesive allows a minute amount of water
vapor to penetrate, as this happens the display
will continue to darken from the edges to the
