Thanks, pickle. Using google.mac, I picked up on a recent thread at Applefritter. It's a dinosaur - I'll take a pass. Still the cheapest way to print is with a dot matrix - hands down. Where I work, our suppliers routinely supply brand new dot matrix printers by Okidata (I think). Their ribbon car

Hello, I have a chance to get a LaserWriter Plus. Is this worth it - I don't know how many pages on it. How about cartridges - standard HP or Apple only? What about third party cartridges? Is the 1.5 MB of Ram sufficient for graphics? What about drivers? I use OS 8 up to 9. I think I can find out
