thats really interesting... 

guess i asked this because i also tend to have high energy / anxiety
levels..

i find it particularly happens with me on Macs... maybe because i'm less
familiar with them, but i also wondered whether its because their
architecture is more susceptible... the cases arent as clunky as PCs, to
start with :)... 

i asked a group of manic depressives about this, and they all said they
tended to crash computers when they were manic! (one of them could crash
street lights by walking under them... whoooaaa....)

tried to do a google search on this last night but drew a blank... if
anyone can find any research on it i'd be really interested. i know my
friend who initially mentioned it to me said he'd read something about
crystal behaviour and high energy levels... so it would have something
to do with research into chip behaviour and body electricity levels i
guess....
