Dear listers
Can anyone confirm if it is possible to make the VO cursor speak as it does in
Windows – i.e. as you arrow around it only speaks the character to the right of
the cursor. Jonathan Mosen mentioned in a recent post that this is possible but
I can’t see how to do it.

You can find this setting in vo utility. I thin k it’s under verbosity
settings, and I also think it says something like speak character following
cursor, or something like that.

You may want to see if not having VoiceOver speak on the lock screen fixes it
in the VoiceOver settings.
Or, stating the obvious here, set the do not disturb time later.
If you just turn off speech with the three finger double tap, you can still
answer the phone using the two finger double tap.
I think the best way to use Rotor that allows reading by chars, by words, or by
lines.

music library. On a Mac, use Command-9 followed by Command-1.
