I wrote Apple Accessibility requesting that they make the Voice Mail
Transcription an optional toggle since it messes things up for VoiceOver users.

I have to get out of Voicemail, go to App Switcher, close out phone, go back to
Phone, then Voicemail to delete them! At least that is a work around, albeit
somewhat annoying.

When I spoke to an accessibility rep five days ago, he said Apple was
aware of VoiceOver issues connected with the voice mail transcription
feature. Perhaps this is a good sign.
