Hi, Inside of your iPhone settings, go to sounds and disable the feature called change with buttons. This will allow you to have your ringer volume at 100% or whatever you set it to. Then, when you adjust the volume buttons, it will only affect voiceover. Feliciano For tech tips and updates:

That has been my experience as well. So, if auto brightness is on and the screen curtain dims it to 0; that would be the same result as turning off auto brightness and manually setting to 0. So, if a brightness of 0 helps a little with battery, than either method is a valid approach in my humble

ever since iOS 11, I have noticed that if I enable auto brightness, turning on the screen curtain will automatically dim the back light to 0%. When I turn off the screen curtain, the screen automatically brightens which makes it much easier when you have to show your screen to a sighted person,
